Today the girls were "helping" me make rice krispie treats. They were standing in chairs they had pulled up to the counter from the kitchen table. After we finished, I told them several times to put the chairs back. Landry was standing in hers and this conversation ensued:
Me: Landry get down from your chair and push it back to the table.
Landry: I can't get down!
Me: Yes you can.
Landry: I can, but I'm not.
That should tell you a lot about her personality. :-) Stinker!

My Little Dancer
Today Landry went to her first dance class!
I signed her up for the Pre-Ballet class at Lisa's Dance Connection. It's for 2-3 year olds.
This past May, when we went to Bethany's recital, I saw the Pre-Ballet class perform and just knew Landry needed to be on that stage next time!
Of course, since her sister dances, she wants to do it, too.
She watches our video of Bethany's recital (while wearing Bethany's costume) and does both dances along with the video. About 25 times in a row.
So...when I told her she was going to get to go to dance class, she was beside herself with glee! This morning as we were pulling into the parking lot, she was chanting, "I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited!"
We got there a little early and waited for the other class to finish.
We met this little girl, Kamie, the day that we went to the studio to register, and Landry took a book from her and made her cry. It looks like she's forgiven her. :-)
When the girls started coming out of the studio, Landry weaved her way through them and went right in the studio all by herself!
She already had a friend in her class - Gracie, from her Mother's Day Out class!
Ms. Lisa had all of the moms/dads come in for a brief intro.
Landry stood on her star.
Sat on her star.
And listened intently to Ms. Lisa
After they pulled the parachute out, the parents left them alone!
I watched her on this TV in the lobby. She's the one on the far left end of the row. Next week they'll have the one-way window open for us to watch!
This is the face that came running out to me when it was over.
I'd say it was a success!
